How do I Begin?
Scheduling your Complimentary Introductory Lesson is the first step! During this 30 minute lesson, we will assess your goals and answer any questions you may have about us.  You will also learn a few steps to the dances that interest you as we evaluate your skill level.  This helps us determine the best program for you.

What if I have never danced before?
Every dancer started as a beginner! We will walk you through every step at your own pace.

How many lessons should I take?
How many lessons you take depends entirely on your goals and schedule. Once a week is a good starting point.

What do I wear?
Comfortable clothing and shoes are essential. Gym attire is perfectly acceptable. Dressy attire works, too. If it is hard to move in the clothes or shoes you have on, it will be harder to dance in them. Dance shoes will become essential, but are not necessary in the beginning.

Where do I buy dance shoes?
Dance shoes may be purchased online or you can visit a couple of stores around the city. We highly recommend Cincinnati Dancewear, a top of the line retailer of Ballroom dance shoes. (www.cincinnatidancewear.com). They will help you get sized and show you exactly what you will need.

What do I need to bring to lessons?
Your shoes are the most important. We have water available, restroom for changing clothes, and individual cubbies for you to place your belongings. We highly recommend a notebook for taking notes and a device to record important points of your lesson.

What if I don’t have a partner?
At least half of our student base is comprised of single men & women.  We will partner you in your private lessons and partners may be switched in group classes & workshops.

Where do I park?
There are meters available ( except 4-6 Mon-Fri), and several pay lots within a minute walk to the studio.

Should I take group classes or private lessons first? You may join the group classes at any time, but beginning with private lessons will make you feel more comfortable in the groups.

Where can I dance once I start taking lessons?
Cincinnati and surrounding areas offer many different experiences for Ballroom dancers. It is our job to provide you with as many opportunities to use your dancing. Whether you are wanting a late night out Salsa dancing or an upscale night of formal Ballroom dancing, we will provide you with as many dance experiences as we can!

I have a Gift Certificate. What do I do now?
Contact the studio and we will give you all the details you need and get you scheduled.

How much notice to I need to give you to schedule a lesson?
The best thing to do is to call us as soon as you can as lessons are scheduled everyday and throughout the year.
