Nestled in a historic brick building on Brazee Street, just a few steps down from Boca on Madison, the brand-new Cincinnati Ballroom Company doesn't immediately stand out against the funky, upbeat businesses that line the streets of Oakley.
Once through the doors of the dance studio, however, the atmosphere is decidedly bold: striking red walls speak warmth and romance, while the vaulted ceiling and distressed wood floors evoke a striking urban vibe. The combination breathes fresh energy.
Aside from a few comfortable chairs and a retro-style fridge stocked with cold drinks, the space is sparsely furnished, leaving as much room as possible for dancers. The design reflects the vision of the studio co-owners, Brian McNamee and Leigh Bradshaw. |
