What hobbies or interests do you have other than dancing? We both enjoy cooking for friends and family, taking walks around a nearby lake or hiking in scenic areas, volunteer work with our church, and tennis.

What are your future plans in dance? We love Latin music, so will continue with Salsa and Cha-Cha. We would also like to add a smooth dance step and a club step or two so that we can dance socially to all kinds of music.

Favorite dance movie? Dance With Me (Chayanne and Vanessa Williams).

Favorite song to dance together? We don’t really have a particular favorite, but it was fun to Cha-Cha to Santana’s “Oye Como Va”.

Dance style you want to learn next? Add some Rumba steps, and then get past the basics in one of the smooth dance styles.

Why do you like dancing at the Cincinnati Ballroom Company?
At first we appreciated the patience and skill of our instructors in working with true beginners, and had fun from Day One. We also discovered that dancing is a natural stress-reliever after a busy work day. Now the studio feels like “family”, as each week we see people we know and meet new people that will soon become friends. And Leigh and Brian never run out of new things to teach us!
